Admission Requirements

Before you jump in to one of CTC's programs, you'll need to make sure you have a few things covered. Take a look at the list below to make sure you can provide the necessary documentation in order to get started.

• The academy does not admit ability-to-benefit students.
  The following is required for admission to all programs at CTC Barber Academy, and must be received prior to enrolling:
  • Enrollment application and $100 registration fee. (non-refundable)
  • Copy of the student’s photo ID (examples: driver’s license or passport)
  • Provide a copy of a current social security card
  • Provide proof of secondary education such as: a high school diploma, a GED certificate, an official transcript showing secondary school completion, or a state certification of home-school completion.
  • Signed contract
• Should an enrolling student provide a foreign high school diploma, the institution will work with the student to obtain an English translation of the document along with confirmation that the education received is equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma.  This documentation must come from an outside agency.
